About Scott

My passion for photography began when I received my first SLR camera at 14. I took it everywhere and photographed everything, experimenting often. In college, I photographed friends for their engagement photos. I earned my BFA in Photography at Brigham Young University and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in photography.

Since graduation, I have assisted commercial photographers with large production advertisement shots, automotive photography, and celebrity portraits. Most recently, I focused on my retouching skills and worked for Universal Pictures and Disney.

Although I enjoyed working in these fields, I missed the personal connection that can only come from photographing people, one on one. I am now 100% focused on my own work, specializing in weddings, bridals, engagements, and family portraits.

I offer photography that reflects your unique personality.

My most recent wedding, shot 8/29/09. The Oakland hills are known for cool breezes and overcast skies. This was not one of those days. Thanks to Jeannette & Jon for sticking it out in the heat and being rewarded with these beautiful photos. Jeannette looked stunning in her dress and Jon sported a matching lavender tie.
